France are 3rd faves for the WC, I'd have them as faves personally. Just way too many guys in that squad that'll be even better in a year.

Spoiler:
Probably won't even qualify now

That Brazil front 3 of Neymar, Jesus, Coutinho is tasty though.

Yeah have watched a bunch of Brazil games since Phil starting getting starts. They are great to watch at the moment which pleases me.

Dembele is what Sterling wishes he was. I don't know what will happen with Sterling. He's very good at certain things, like the half turns in the pockets of space centrally, and he's still a very good dribbler (although not so much as a wide man) but that decision making is going to hold him back. It hasn't got any better from his Pool days.

I do like him when he drifts centrally but you're looking for the key pass in those areas and he can't find it.

Yup.

Read something today that football observatory has him as the 15th most valuable player in Europe which is pretty lol. Can't post the image of top 25 but here's the link

Dier more valuable than Aubameyang lol

I had to actively hunt down the list to find guys like kroos, Thiago etc whilst Modric isn't even on there.

While Firmino who cant string together a month worth of good performances is 20th and I can't even see coutinho or Mane either.

Scratch that coutinho is 38th and Mane is 47th lol

38. Coutinho
47. Mane
62. Jesus

15. Sterling seems like a solid meme

Spurs away at the Toon.

Then home to Chelsea. Would have been nice to get a soft game for our first match at Wembley.

Your second is pretty soft. I see it's already subject to change, with Wembley being used for rugby that day.

Doesn't look like our away form will improve any time soon with the first 5 away games being Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool, Everton, Man City

Yeah, Burnley at home would be as good as we could hope for, considering their away form.
06-14-2017 , 05:06 AM
last?

West Ham are saying they'll need to switch their first home game, against Southampton, because of the athletics World Championships.

Swapping their home and away games round would mean Southampton would have four away games in a row later in the season like we did after switching the Liverpool games last season.

Yeah this Pool thing from last year has potentially made things a bit silly. I understand being compassionate about things like Hillsborough weekend etc, but teams really need to be able to fulfill their obligations regarding the fixture list.

World class sight-lines though.
