Sorry mate. We mailed it in that second half. Hammers winner was a bit spawny though.

Good to hear. Hope Swans scored a fluke as well

Pretty incredible that Sunderland didn't finish with the worst goal difference.

Might have an early bet on Arsenal EL win.

Can't say i'm looking forward to next season. Another botched summer window combined with playing at Wembley next year could well see Spurs drop out of the CL places, and as a result lose key players like Alli and Toby.

Could well be that we've seen the high water mark of this team.

Not trying to be factious, keeping hold of Toby, Walker, Ali and Kane this summer would be an excellent summer from spurs POV.

Looking like you'll be losing at least 2 of them.

Walker should be sold, along with Dier and Sissoko. Use the cash to get backup CB and striker, and throw some $$ at Allí and Kane and maybe Poch.

Kane won't leave.

Walker will, and Dier is also a possibility. I'm not that bothered about either of them leaving. We would get the best part of £100m, and neither player is irreplaceable.

Of the players I'm worried about losing, Toby is possible but I think Alli will stay for another season.

not the greatest season overall. here are the 17/18 odds

Agree that WembleyWOAT will be an issue and even though I realise we have no chance to ship the league, there is no reason why we can't finish Top 4 again..

if we have a great summer window I agree, and we might even challenge again.

I don't see Man Utd, Arsenal or Plop improving significantly, but we can't afford another summer where 3 of our 4 big summer signings are relative failures and don't contribute significant minutes (although I think Sissoko is the only absolute failure).

Meh don't like anything there really. Maybe fading Man U but that's about it.

Why are Spurs ok with losing Walker?

I ask obviously cause city have been prematurely linked but I assume his value is peaking ATM?

match/spot-fixing.

City being linked with Walker is great given that the percentage we get could buy us half a new team
05-21-2017 , 01:03 PM
Yeah fair enough.

Kompany was massive down the stretch. Stones wasn't fit but when he was he hardly saw any minutes. It's a huge if but if kompany can somehow against all odds stay fit next season it would be huge for a number of reasons. He's still really good.

He and Willy staying/playing next year could help stagger some of the spending for sure.

Both still beyond capable.

Otamendi actually wasn't too bad either late in the season.

Lol at United not improving significantly next season.
05-21-2017 , 01:13 PM
I think Walker wants the move, and £50m is his peak value. I think City get two good years out of him - given his style of play i think his regression will be pretty steep.

He's a fullback whose name isn't Dani Alves and they're getting 40-50m. Seems obv enough.

Last summer we got; Best player in Italy. Best player in France and best player in Germany. Micky should be a lot better next season.

Not many players instantly hit the ground running.
