Sunday still has some meaning. Some plop potential still.

Pickford played out of his mind tonight.

Looks like some team is probably gonna get a hell of a keeper for a bargain this summer.

Has to be in the conversation for the best in the league (after de Gea) imo.

12 chances created by Ozil too, the most by any PL player in a single game, ever.

12 goals and 13 assists so far...not so bad for a "bad" season.

We've had some epic GK performances against us over the years, but that might just take the crown. Sunderland's defense is beyond embarrassing.

MATH tells me arse secure top 4 if they win and

Pool draws
Pool loses
City lose, don't score and arse win by 5
Pool lose, don't score and arse win by 3?

For about 55 minutes. The last 40 was about as bad as you will see from a team, probably gave up a shot every ~2 minutes afterward even though we were on strict instruction to only shoot when inside the 6 yd area.

We all seemed pretty sure Newcastle would bounce right back up. I do not think Sunderland will do the same.

I think he was also a sub at relegated Villa last year. burns to confirm.

Also, Spurs avoiding losing to Leicester tomorrow night would ensure Tony Pulis's first ever EPL top-10 finish as a manger.

Think about that Spurs fans.

Literally every team's fans think the first bit of this sentence.

Pickford seems like an obvious plop pickup only to regress massively

Thread delivering with some proper English terminology making me feel like I'm in the English football thread for once! Bog ftw

Part of it isn't just regression when it comes to Plop/Citeh defenders/keepers. They both play in a way that can massively expose them several times per game. Players like Lovren or Miggers played in systems that weren't quite as taxing and had a lot of support from MF.

Oh meh gawd

Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal face play-off prospect for Champions League

Please let one of them happen

LOL. If only any of you lot had a squad as good as spurs!
05-17-2017 , 10:10 AM
We have almost as much if not more to show for it tho
05-17-2017 , 10:13 AM
Fair enough but I'm going to enjoy the almost part for at least this week

Chelsea quite clearly have a better squad. Pretty sure both Manchester teams will rival it come August.

This thread made me want to rewatch Human Traffic. So I did.

Excellent movie and hadn't aged nearly as poorly as I thought it would've.

Also, re: Coke. Visit the Groucho Club at pretty much any time of day...

Mazzari's got the boot at Watford.

I reckon it might actually be half decent there tbh, perhaps even 40% pure!

Really great movie, and yes, I'm constantly surprised by how little the clubbing culture has changed in 20 years.

Wtf do the Watford owners want in a season?!

They're clearly surpassing my pre season prediction of bottom, they must be drunk

fwiw, the street purity of available stuff has gone way up in the dark net era. Before it was very difficult to get high quality stuff because you had to trust a street dealer, now the fact that at least some tech-savvy users can buy from a relatively free (black) market on the Internet has changed that quite significantly.
