motd viewership tonight will consist of one portuguese chap who lives in a big house somewhere near manchester. there will be only the merest hint of a nub left on him by close of play

They could pad the show out with highlights from Thursday night

Oh wait

I will miss the six points we get from Sunderland every year. That said, they can **** off down the lower leagues, or Scotland

Sunderland relegation feels like the death of Fring from Breaking Bad

Feels like the main guy has already been slain, whats the point of watching further?

Burnley to be relegated next year seems like FREE MONEY

Please try and argue that we didn't deserve to win that game, while maintaining your xG is king stance.

Easy.

-Zaha was a mile onside. Heaton would have been sent off on that play. You can argue that the whistle blew and it wouldn't have happened that way if it wasn't called, but it appeared to me that neither were aware. Good luck winning with 10 men.

-Zaha should have had a pen in the 2nd half (and about 7 other fouls that weren't given too)

They were wank though, so besides those misses you badly outplayed them. Fat Sam hasn't figured out that having dodo bird townsend cross 17 times a game isn't really great from an EV perspective.

Palace without Sakho is nothing

Burnley > Swans

My eyetest of 3 early Burnley games is a confirmed better metric than xG. Also worst team in the EPL history survives the season. biggest shock since Palace not making top6 last year.

Also let us have a moment for Hull and Marco Silva. Would be incredibly tough on them to go down. They have been excellent after appointing the new manager. Who clearly has the right idea and made Hull not only watchable, but fun to watch! (and not only for opposition fans who's teams put 5-6 past them)

They were in shambles before and I genuinely though that they were done for. Seemed like the worst side in the league by a mile.

Swansea on the other hand, the board that is, made bad decision after bad decision...sacking their manager who brought standard results so to speak and appointing Bradley. That should probably go down as one of the worst decisions of the season. They would go down deservedly.

----

NLD today! Top4 chase or title race? which one will remain alive?

Would be quite nice for Swans and Everton to at least get a point from their games to make it even juicer

Agree with most of what you posted, we got away with a couple of dodgy decisions although I'm not convinced it was a penalty on Zaha. Thought Zaha was lucky to stay on the pitch after being booked for dissent then continuing to moan at the ref for the remaining 20 minutes or so.

Bahaha just watched the Barnes disallowed goal. Feels amazing watching him do the ****test celebration only to find out it's been ruled out.

xG says Burnley deserve it though therefore eye test is completely irrelevant.

How on earth it took the ref so long to decide it was handball is beyond me.

It's almost as if he hadn't seen it and was told by someone (not his assistant, who failed to flag) that Barnes had handled it.

Bizarre.
