Tories sweep up essentially every right voter. Leftist voters have a lot of split parties. A true pact could make somewhat of a difference but I can't see it happening. Tories are multiple different parties in disguise. Their whole purpose is power. Hardcore remainers will vote for them. Democracy is depressing. Especially this particularly unrepresentative version we enjoy.

I'm not sure the actual tory lead is as great as the polls suggest, especially if the opposition manages to position themselves right (which they won't because of the bolded).

Edit: What I mean is that there are a number of seats up for grabs where a coalition would make it a lot more likely that a) seats are defended and b) that seats are taken from tories -- we're talking at least 100 seats in the grey zone

I kinda like following politics in other countries such as France or the US because it's always top class entertainment but I've never seemed to get into UK politics, so pale in comparison

containment thread imo

As LFC_USA has pointed out numerous times, I am a relative n00b to English football and don't know much..so I have a question: Is it normal for one PL team to loan a player to another PL team?

I know teams loan players all the time to other leagues, but didn't think it was done much within the same league.

Would Bournemouth be allowed to play Wilshere vs. Arsenal?

Just wondering..

I think the whole parent club blocking loaning club from playing got banned a couple of seasons back but I could be wrong

It happens a lot, and usually they'd be barred from playing against the club that owns them.

or maybe this is true. lol.

Yes it is "normal" and no Wilshere cannot play against the club that owns him due to league rules (and because he is always injured). Bournemouth had Ake on loan from Chelsea, Everton have Valencia from West Ham, Palace have Sakho from Plop, Hull have the forward from Everton. There are almost certainly others.

Everton have apparently written to Hull demanding that Niasse be required to play against us whenever possible.

Tv recommendation....Peter Kay car share.

Makes me laugh.

Watched all of GOT, pretty good.

Was just introduced to Car Share this weekend by a friend. I didn't think it would be my kind of thing, but ended up really enjoying it.

Definitely going to go back and catch up on the episodes I've missed.

lol at cahill instead of toby

I guess it's voter fatigue or whatever. Most voters will do anything to avoid having 3 players from one team. I think Toby is a better shout than Rose though.
04-20-2017 , 05:02 AM
Toby for Cahill and Alonso for Rose.

Think it would be very harsh leaving David Luiz out, proved everyone wrong this season. Hasn't Danny Rose only played 17-18 games as well?

Having a friendly argument on facebook with a spurs fan about this. DDG's numbers have been amazing, but I think Heaton is probably most deserving of the spot.

He's number 1 in saves, massively clear of any of the other contenders (https://www.premierleague.com/stats/...?po=GOALKEEPER)

Joing 5th in clean sheets, despite playing for the worst team in PL history (https://www.premierleague.com/stats/...?po=GOALKEEPER)

And is first is save % according to NBC (http://scores.nbcsports.com/epl/play...p?category=107)

Loling at no Sanchez. Also De Gea doesn't deserve it this year.
