13, with a couple of notorious fails where I should have done better.
03-24-2017 , 07:29 AM
so so awful, got 11 and rushed so many answers without properly thinking
03-24-2017 , 07:33 AM
12. Killed the first ten thinking this is easy then turned to ****.
03-24-2017 , 07:55 AM
Got 13 although it took me until the answer of Q4 to realize they're not in order
03-24-2017 , 07:59 AM
Yeah did exactly the same too. Still not really an excuse because the players that I incorrectly suggested didn't play for these teams either!
03-24-2017 , 08:02 AM
Yes, same.

To be fair, it only says the clubs are in random order three times at the top of the page

I have finalised the 20 teams forever league. I have probably forgotten a few teams that think they are important, but the chances are that they aren't that important.

Arsenal
Manchester United
Manchester City
Tottenham
Chelsea
Liverpool
Everton
West Ham
Aston Villa
Nottingham Forest
Leeds
Sheffield Wednesday
Newcastle
Millwall (no YOU **** off)
Sunderland
Derby
Sheffield United
Southampton
Birmingham
Ipswich

17, should have been 18 really.

Is there really much point in having us without pompey? Would probably take the scummers/el classicoast over Ipswich, especially with no Norwich.

Blackpool (sob) and Bolton
Wednesday and Blades
Wolves and Villa
West Ham and Chelsea, I guess
prob find room for Leeds because everyone hates them though..

But yeah, the whole reason the league is such a brilliant model is there are so many "deserving" of a place and so many different narratives / rivalries.

Elite show but season 3 was ridiculous and terrible. Nick Cave song for the opener prob my favorite of any opening show ever. Not particularly a Nick Cave fan but that song for that show is so elite.

Hopefully season 4 delivers.

Tranmere Rovers welcome to the 2+2 Premier league!

They'll be very tough to get, best approach is what you have planned but you'll have your work cut out.

Yeah agree. There has to be some weighting for recency - winning the league when there was only 1 division with 12 teams and relegation was decided by voting isn't nearly so impressive as winning anything post WW2.

Quite. I mean, you could easily kick Arsenal out for cheating their way in in the first place, but that would prevent the opportunity for a lot of laughs, so I opted not to. Also you could justifiably include someone like Blackpool on the basis that it is an absolutely manginficent place for an away day beano.

Laverys is a decent spot to watch football /drink in beer garden/play pool etc. For a night out somewhere in cathedral quarter is your best bet for a decent and safe bar.

Restaurants in Belfast go to Home/Ginger/Mourne Seafood.

Dublin for football/sports go to the Living Room, it's a big sports bar right in City centre. Who are you travelling with and how long in each city?
I wouldn't bother with this tbh. Just left one of the sets and seen a tour bus pull up, best view they get is of the perimeter of all sets from a few hundred yards away...So basically you see **** all.

I'd head to the ground this evening for definite vader, try the bus park first imo, then the nearest pub.
