Speaking to people today and some are annoyed that we've now left the EU but it's a case of we voted to stay in the UK.
You can't have it both ways.
Some nugget was on the radio about 20 minutes ago saying buses will be hectic because they'll have to take a break after 4.5h work rather than 6. What a pleb.
I'm not entering a politard thread. Can someone give me cliffs on this UK EU nonsense. All i see is people saying how bad and stupid it is all over FB and other places. What was their reason for pulling out? Basically they were carrying all of Europe and letting them leech off their elite country status?
i'm not much into politics but from what i have gathered:
cameron, under massive pressure, assured people that he will allow a referendum(thinking that it will never come to that due to coalition with the liberal pro-EU democrats)
but then against all odds the conservatives got the absolute majority yada yada yada lolcameron lolengland
Ah yea that last point was more of what I was looking for. Obviously conservatives and liberals are always up in arms over whatever the flavor of the month is, but the issue this time was mainly immigration? So no more immigrants in the freestanding BR?
we the people were put into a frenzy by the idea that germans and french and belgians and so on were writing some of our laws. the fact that one of those laws involved browns coming here was an intense force-multiplier
So the UK is still part of the EU until they negotiate a new trade deal with the EU, I'm assuming they will negotiate largely the same deal that is currently in place and they just won't be an official member? Loss for the UK is uncertainty and lawyers fees?
