To be fair, although Ra_Z-Boy is making himself look very foolish, a combined XI is a pretty fallacious way to discern who is better, or who will do better in future.

Obvs.

I never really hated United during their dominant 2 decade run, I guess that's just the way it had always been. Especially didn't hate them once I'd moved to the States as you get away from it.

This thread is reminding me how hilariously entitled (some (most?) of) the fans are though, which is fun.

West Ham ownership should get a lot of hate for that ugly boondoggle of a stadium whilst LevyGOAT is building the Taj Mahal..

I'm not sure how you get entitled from Raz's arguement. Your point is that 1 United played would get into the Spurs team, yet you are not willing to take a bet for next season because of a new stadium (lol) and United spending (unless we buy 6 first team players, you will still have a better first XI as per your arguement).

Your point is pretty laughable, and saying 11 points and +22 GD doesn't help that. Have you not learned anything about variance from last season? I am not saying the 11 point gap is due to luck, I am just saying it is not a valid arguement.

You realise that West Ham have a 99 year for that stadium, basically for free, right?

Its really not that hard.

Spurs have been better this season, they'd have more players in a best of the season team. That's why only 1 or 2 united players would get in a combined team of the season.

Going forward from this point though.
We have better players. Who just haven't been playing well this year.

Absolutely bricking it about the semi-final tomorrow. I always get like this around semi-finals. Not that I think we're going to get killed or anything (I think the game is basically a pick-em), but I just ****ing love the FA Cup and I sooooooooo want us to get to the final. I also think it'd be amazing for momentum going into a tough away game at Palace midweek.

Which is fine until you have to sit in it.

That's not my point though. That was someone else's point. And it was hyperbole/they were joking.

Obvs there are players that would be in and around the Spurs team (assuming they discovered the form that has led to their reputations and pricetags).

You don't think that home advantage is a thing? Look at our record at WHL this year, and tell me that playing in an unfamiliar environment (which is NOT home) with a massively different sized pitch is not going to affect that. Christ, it's not that complicated.

For only double the initial estimated cost, GOAT. Maybe he can send some more angry emails to the council

Pretty sad way to end for someone who's been amazingly fit through his whole career (just out the top of my head can't remember him being injured ever).

i guess you can only run so high above your xLigaments though

There's only one thing left for him to do

Spoiler:

Harsh.

While I'm not going to pretend I'm sad that he won't play against us at WHL, it definitely is a loss to the Premier League and a devastating way to end this year. Hopefully he can come back for another year or so before retiring in a more desirable way.

The funny thing is, West Ham have no chance to be part of the best thing to happen on a Saturday in that stadium.
