It is incredible that they can get it so wrong. I know the financial landscape is different this year and now everyone has some money to spend on players, but the stuff about the scouts is ridiculous. Football clubs simply don't have vast numbers of mid-level executives mooching around in non-jobs to allow stuff like this to slip through the net.

Didn't see it either, but considering I haven't seen any fresh injury news, I'm guessing not.

I think he was just saving some energy for his next injury. You know how friendlies are.

His performance against United is starting to make a lot more sense

we're wearing those socks in the euros. not good

I hate this FIFA obsession with same colours for shirts and shorts.

Particularly where in the case of the Australia game, we had to wear light shorts to match our top (yellow) when the team we are playing against is playing in white.

Brain-dead ******ed.

So they were playing light vs light? Wat

At least at the EURO we get a break from the top-must-match-shorts BS. Though most kits still suck

I might be the only person who doesn't hate the spanish away kit. Make those things black-red-gold and I think it might've been worth a shot for our whites

Would be nothing but a poor man's 1990 kit. Donotwant.jpg.

Also, I'm still kind of salty about the fact that we became WELTMEISTER in white shorts. White shirt, black shorts is the DEUTSCHLAND!!!! way.

Yeah, that too. And that one was already a poor man's 1990.

This is a disaster. Are the top and shorts they wore last night our home kit at the moment?
03-30-2016 , 12:24 PM
right at the start of the manager career is a fairly bad point for negative variance

Neville will get 3-4 more decent opportunities, one of them probably the England job.
03-30-2016 , 12:37 PM
ye probably.
this still throws him back a lot, would had been the 2nd coming of jesus with some early godmode

I was very surprised when I saw Gary Neville as a member of the English coaching staff for the recent England matches.

Nice user title cashy, it really suits you.

I'd worry about that too, that kit was awful, but still think it would've been worth a shot. The one we have now is soo boring. Needs some red/gold parts imo.

Adidas kits for this tournament are still >>>> the Nike ones though. Best ones are probably Puma.

Really wanted Neville to succeed and yeah fair ****s to him for giving it a go. Hopefully he gets another shot somewhere.

It'll be good to hear what he has to say about his time there.

Maybe he can return Villa to the Premier League next year
