I thought it was a good play by Loney and an awful one by Saito. Saito broke late and missed the base by 2 feet. Not sure if Loney could've got the man @ 2nd.

He's going to walk DeRosa too, so good thing there's an open base.

edit: or DeRosa will swing at ball 4 at least once, maybe twice. Lucky as hell to get out of that inning - did they even get a hit? 2 walks and I guess an infield single, though it should have been a routine play if Saito covered 1st.

They'd just announced Fernando Tatis got a GW double for the Mets in extra innings on the WGN broadcast.

Tatis mentioned w/ Park coming into the game = game over, imo.
