Re: Dodgers 2008-20th Anniv. of Gibson's Homer and Orel's 59 Innings!

Well we got farther than I thought we would but came up short. I was really anti all this Colletti bs at the times of the trades due to resigning retardation, and now I hope he proves me wrong.

Anyone know the deal with Spring Training? They're gonna have a hotel built in to the facility iirc. Are they taking reservations yet?

Lowe possibly walks. Manny probably walks. Penny shown the door. Furcal possibly walks. Blake possibly walks. Garciaparra and Kent possibly retire..

Wow we could end up looking quite different next year.. Take all that loot and get C.C. or Peavy imo. Also if Colletti can dig up a power hitting 3rd baseman it would really fill a void in the lineup as Boras likely sends Manny to the yankees or whomever will overpay.

also, wondering if Kemp will ever hit 30+ home runs or if he's just going to be a 6'3" 240lb gap hitter his whole career. We'll be needing a big bat, maybe its him..

He seemed to progress very nicely as a CF defensively this year. If he could develop the HR-potential he's supposed to have, he'd be a monster. Even if he doesn't improve much, he's still pretty valuable.

Lots of changes going to fly around this offseason, I hope Ned doesn't **** things up too badly. I'd like to see him wrap up some of the young players long-term with the new influx of cash. Billingsley, Ethier, Kemp, Martin, Loney, Broxton are all likely better places for the money to go than random-FA-Ned-wants.

I hope they manage to give Pierre the trade he wants.
