The draft order is as follows:

This will be an NFL Dynasty draft, based on current rosters. Incoming rookies will be draft eligible.

You are building a team to win now and in the future.

We will draft for 20 rounds. You may pick whatever positions you would like within those 20 rounds. When the draft is over, we assume that whatever positions you did not draft will be filled by average players.

The draft format will be ABBABABABABABABABABA. After you pick, please PM the person after you.

We will have a four hour window for the first 15 rounds of the draft. After that, it becomes a two hour window. Dead time is from 1AM-9AM EST time. If you are online posting in another topic but not making a pick, you automatically are SKIPPED. Please do not abuse the system.

Trading is obviously allowed. Please do not let your turn come, and then start looking for trades. If you have a possible trade in the works, we will allow a 20 minute grace period for the trade to work itself out, otherwise you must pick.

If you have a co-owner, that does NOT mean you can wait around until he comes online to talk about the pick. It is your job to talk about the pick beforehand. You have a co-owner so that if you are unavailable, someone could pick.

If it is almost your pick and you have to go, PM someone a list of who you would want (in order) so that they can make a pick. Do not slow the draft down.

Writeups are crucial! We need to know why you drafted someone, how they will fit into your offense or defense, etc etc. That’s half of the fun in these drafts anyway.

We’ve all done drafts before. We know the mechanics.

If someone can make a spreadsheet, that would be helpful.


WaterWalker will not be on the clock until 9AM tomorrow. If he is here, he can obviously pick. If he does, Smiglet will not be on the clock until 9, but he can still make a pick. etc etc

You decide. Maximize you Super Bowl equity. Either go long term or go all in early. I think both are allowable and winnable strategies.

I have one question that I think needs to be clarified. In terms of filling out our roster, are we getting an average starter/back-up or are we getting an average player based on the pool of remaining players?

Otherwise u can wait on qb forever then end up w an avg qb? Makes no sense

I think i speak for most people when i say it'd be pretty dumb to not draft a key position like QB. The rule is in place so that we can avoid pointless and uneventful debates such as "is Player A or Player B the 22nd best left guard in the league?". Debates about any of the top 25 QBs are interesting, so no team should go without one.

2. Explain how to do it- this way I'll be able to take care of it in future, or for drafts i'm not in people can simply link to their post.
