Well played NZ.

It seemed to me, the game lacked over-all intensity .. but, that may just have been the
tacky nature of the pitch, which made free hittting, pretty hard.

Great to see a level series .. 2 good games so far .

Yesssss what a game again!

So close to losing it AGAIN!

Very happy with that, boosted the bankroll a wee bit too

This is turning out to be an awesome series

Hope ur enjoying ur trip, and dont lose too much $$$ betting against us Cricket: Random Discussion Thread

Yep pitches are strange beasts over these parts

Often tacky and slow but sometimes quick with a lot of carry

1 thing Williamson and Taylor are fantastic at is working out how a pitch is going to play plus change throughout a game then playing accordingly to those conditions

I often find myself annoyed at those 2 hanging around seemingly not forcing the pace when in reality they have summed up the pitch to perfection and are playing optimally

AUS in India in a few hours. Hoping Smith performs ala pointing of the early 2000s in India. Given performance in SL this should be an easy 4-0 sweep.

Renshaw retires hurt with upset stomach. That doesn't bode well for the Aussies.

Pitch turning too much for Ashwin and co, past the outside edge. Wonder if Smith has been bowling much, he might be a useful option for the aussies.

I reckon Aussie will perform much better than previous recent overseas tours

They might not win the series but I could see them winning a test

The last tours overseas and rhe home series vs SA really seem to have kicked them up the arse

I have been impressed with Smiths awareness and comments about what they need to do to win in India

Its just about the excecution now

Quite looking forward to the series

And cmon India sort ur pitches out, the odd raging dustbowl is fine but its getting ridiculous

Actually reasonably happy with 250 but its a lock India find a way to score 500 somehow.

Oh god I just got such a boner seeing kholi gone for a duck.

From a neutral, Aussie hating perspective that is boner-killing

He was due though, first duck for 104 innings

Hows this for a ridiculous AB De Villiers stat pulled from 2moros game preview

AB de Villiers now needs five runs for 9000 (he has scored his 8995 runs from 9000 deliveries)

Id say hes the best ODI batsmen ever when u take into account he also averages almost 54 and plays regularly on bowler friendly wickets

I think Dhoni is still the best ODI batsmen of all time. AB def one of the best to watch.

As long as India don't get a huge first inns lead this should be a great Test, batting last on this will be awful

Its quite unbelievable that Oz havent been able to produce a decent legspinner since Warne and Mcgill

A leggie in India would come in so so handy

Not really. Leggies are rare in general, especially in the modern game. With so much one day cricket it's tough for them to develop, since the focus is on bowling accurate and restricting run rate.
