I hope so. Imo Broad and Anderson are undroppable as they are likely to sulk if it happens and we play the Aussies next summer.

He does have a very genuine shot at it, since they can bat till tea tomorrow, but being the captain it's likely that he either gets out before that or declares at like 350*.

Batting first, I think it's unlikely. He's bound to declare at 600/650 at most imo.

So we're really gonna let Sachin play till his 50th birthday, no questions asked huh.

Also dont like our bowling selection for this game.

Gambhir looks even worse. I think Tendulkar will retire if he fails for the whole series.

Worst bowling figures ever apparently

Atm there are 20 million Australians including myself who are staggered at how well Clarke has done as captain.

This guy can see the future!

Australia will be no 1 in the world before Christmas. Glad to see test cricket getting back to normal. All that we need now is a typically miserable English sporting performance in the Ashes and cricket will live happily ever after.

This session after tea has provided some excellent, gripping cricket. Panesar has bowled really well.

All a bit overblown imo. Playing two tests with ten men including your main and secondary all rounder is going to hurt. Plus Steyn is down on the radar gun which suggests injury there too.

We are seeing it now

South Africa 388 & 126/4 (85.0 ov)

Two sessions left and six wickets to take. It could be close.

Suddenly 10 ashes tests on the trot doesn't seem so stupid. Could be epic

I'd still back England by a fair way if only for the bowling depth.

Siddle can't even walk back to his run up mark without kneeling over and he removes Kleinveldts middle stump with an inswinging yorker, great effort. 8 down now, not sure how many overs left. Du Plessis still in there after facing 350+ deliveries.
