I will enjoy it. I've watched every game Chile have played for like the last 4 years. I couldn't care less about Panama. I'm not going to pay triple to go watch Team USA play when I dislike a majority of their players and hate their coach. Especially when the quality of play will be just a little bit better than a group of randos playing in Flushing Meadows park.

So pretty awful hot takes there, but enjoy yourself. Nothing wrong with watching and enjoying other countries, but pretty silly assessment of USA. Are you American?

I actually disagree with this on both fronts. I don't think our group is a walkover. Costa Rica is the 3rd best team in CONCACAF and Paraguay we should beat but aren't pushovers. Every game in our group will be very tough.

Having said that, this is the weakest Brazil team in years. If we get out of group I would feel supremely confident of giving them a game and getting a result. No Neymar and they have a bunch of old guys from their domestic league in their squad. Plus under Dunga they've just been a mess and when Neymar doesn't play they lack identity. I'd happily back us to advance. Obv we won't be odds on but it's not like other years where we'd want to avoid Brazil at all costs.

LFC how do you feel about wondo being on the squad

I don't understand the use of "get a result" to describe a game in the knockout stages. There could be no draws against Brazil. USA would either beat them or lose.

Get a draw over 90/120 minutes and get to penalties

So is Brazil spreading itself too thin by trying to roster competitive teams for both this and the Olympics this summer? I haven't looked at the breakdown of their squads.
