CONCACAF its forcing our football federation to treat CONCACAF competitions as top priority. Imagine we send our best teams to Copa America/Copa Libertadores. Two things can happen either CONCACAF directly ban us from the World Cup( which would never happen) or CONCACAF ban us from CONMEBOL competitions (which would happen). So, in a way, the ******ed Gold Cup is our main event. I do agree that CONMEBOL competitions are far more prestigiuos. Basically the only way that we can send our best teams to a CONMEBOL competition is that there isnt a CONCACAF around the same time. Or do what Australia did and move to another football federation. But that is very unlikely as in CONCACAF we pretty much have guaranteed spot in every World Cup.

In theory we could use the same squad for both Copa America and Gold Cup but since we arent from CONMEBOL, FIFA cant force europeans clubs to realease our players so they can participate in both competitions. And this happened as only one player received the club's permission to participate in both tournaments.

I put a lot of the blame on Dunga for this performance. Benching Thiago Silva is just ******ed. Starting Fred(another ****ing ****ty Fred) instead of Firmino is equally ******ed.
