Floyd isn't fighting Berto he's fighting Mcgregor.

However, Vladimir Klitschko knocks out ray Lewis every time doing the same test, with Ray Lewis just standing there.

Mayweather will knock out MacGregor easily. Anyone thinking MacGregor goes the distance with Mayweather has no idea about anything.
While MMA likely doesnt have as hard punchers as boxing its still a combat sport so I think you atleast have to give them some credit for having a chin. Granted they might not get punched as hard they still get kicked, knee'd and elbowed.

Id guess that punch from Floyd wont be the hardest hit Conor has taken in his career. I think in the 1st Diaz fight a combination of Conor gassing and the accumulation of Diaz strikes led to Conor basically giving up and getting choked out so obviously Floyd can wear him down and finish him, but id be suprised if its a one punch thing.

Yeah lets not forget that McGregor lost to Diaz on the feet in their first fight. The only reason the fight ended in a submission was because Conor went for a panic take down.
Second fight almost ended the same way, Diaz had Conor completely dead in the 4th but for some reason didn't go for the kill in the last rd.

Mcgregor def won first round on the feet in the first fight. The second round he gassed due to his body not being accustomed to being at that weight and so he got rocked by a punch that normally wouldn't have done as much damage if he wasn't tired.
The second fight McGregor scored 3 solid knockdowns and again only had trouble when his gas tank was low, given that he's not a 170 lb fighter. In a striking only match at 155 lbs McGregor would crush Diaz.

Conor pretty much said it in the post fight press conference after the 1st fight. He hit Diaz with shots that KO smaller people and gassed himself going for the finish. That was his adjustment for the 2nd fight. He didnt trying for haymaker after haymaker and had a better strategy.

it will be great if Conor gets KO'd inside three rounds

Interviewer: what went wrong?
Conor: ehhhh, I just think floyd was more efficient with his energy

Well, I'd say the possibility of a harder hit is in MMA to be honest. A knee to the head or a leg strike to the head is a 1 shot knockout in many cases because it's a more powerful blow.

My argument is that boxers are very familiar with getting hit due to the nature of boxing itself. Training to be a boxer, the sparring and the experiences in the ring means you get hit many times over the years. I would think (but am not positive) that boxers have a better "chin" then MMA fighters in a boxing setting. Yes, it probably won't be a one shot deal but I could see Floyd hurting him quickly.

I find this whole thing very interesting and can't wait to see the outcome.

No doubt, CM is an animal in the octagon. He still took a beating in both fights. So did Diaz though, that wasn't my point. Just the fact that Conor could go up to 170 lbs and hold his own is impressive, and then to get defeated by submission, and then come back to beat Diaz is incredible. You can't say Diaz didn't land some shots during that fight though, I didn't say that Mcgregor didn't inflict just as much, if not more damage, but he took a beating in both fights, more so than any of his other recent fights. I am a fan of both fighters, and have watched both fights multiple times. I am not biased towards either one, but my point was that Mcgregor can take a beating and not get KO'ed easily.

Part of me wants to see something I didn't expect, like Connor straight up whipping Mayweather's ass.

Another part of me wants to see that everything I've seen over the years in combat sports and disciplines is verified.

We'll see.

For those that may not be hardcore boxing fans, the best fighter of his generation, boxing's only 8 weight division champion, The Honorable Manny Pacquiao is about to fight for free on ESPN.

Talking about the same thing. You can't just ignore what happens after the first round or two. Point is he lost a "boxing" match to Nate Diaz.

Makes me want to bet mayweather by KO a lot more and mayweather to win a little less. Still feels like this one will be harder to rig bc mayweather won't be in on it and it can't really be anywhere near as close
