Thayer Evans at Sports Illustrated has been let go. Seriously, **** that guy. Dragged Auburn, Okie st, others thru the mud with his "unnamed sources" and bull**** stories. **** that guy. Good ****ing riddance. About 6 years too late.

This is my thoughts but I'm cautious. I'm thinking they will correct the close stupid loss thing this year too. Some sick stuff from last year, 9-4 record, ahead or tied with two top 5 teams in 4Q, two close conference type losses, then demolition of respectable Nwest in bowl. I had a brainstorm there that actually worked right before kickioff ... that though it was a seemingly respectable matchup, that TENN, I can't remember I think -9, would be one of those utter mismatch at line of scrimmage deals, and I moved on them to win by 30, against one of the outfits. They won by 40. The team that slugged it out evenly in the trenches with monsters Alabama and Oklahoma, steamrolled what was it 10-3 NWest. Men against boys. I think they launch this year. A friend who donked off huge BR and quit sports and closed accounts, he's the antichrist of sports betting if I've ever seen it, left as his parting words TENN to role in '16. Whenever he's broke and can't bet, he's always right. Antichrist. I'm a Vol this year, and the Alabama and Florida games are gonna be double personal.

They had one decent win last year and won 9 games. Schedule is even softer this year. They look like a lock to win 10 games with that schedule.

Oh man, now I hope ever more that Tennessee chokes. Looks like their fans are super hyped.

Neutral site games continue to be the bane of my existence.

Can we please all agree on naming conventions for college football teams. Let's all agree on one set of names and then move on. Deviation from the naming conventions should be punishable by death AND WHY THE **** DOES 5DIMES CALL UW WASHINGTON U.

2nd week in a row that record goes down (LSU/Wisconsin @ Lambeau doing it the week prior)

There is no way anything is topping LSU/Wisconsin for alcohol consumption.

Lol SEC east. Only thing worse is B1G west.

goofball,

don't know how much you're struggling with the data munging, but I can lend a hand

We have a game on Friday night. I can create an OP for opening week soon unless someone like goofball or someone else had their heart set on it.

Tennessee had 3 close losses, but they had 2 equally close wins. The Georgia game, in particular, was as flukey as a win gets.

They'll have a good record because of a squishy schedule, not because they're a great team.

...and the Bristol Methamphetamine Bowl should be an annual thing. The DIUs will help thin out the fanbase a little.

Tennessee looking good in my model(!?!???)

The fluke about the UGA - UT game is that UT didn't roll by more.

With that punctuation, I am not sure what you mean. Are you asking me what your model says...urgently?

last i saw oregon was -110/-110 at 8 wins (this was several months ago) i'm willing to bet they hit 9 wins.

Sep. 3 - UC Davis
Sep. 10 - Virginia
Sep. 17 - at Nebraska
Sep. 24 - Colorado
Oct. 1 - at Washington State
Oct. 8 - Washington
Oct. 21 - at California
Oct. 29 - Arizona State
Nov. 5 - at Southern California
Nov. 12 - Stanford
Nov. 19 - at Utah
Nov. 26 - at Oregon State

i also saw washington state -110/-110 at 7.5 wins, a team that was 8-4 last year and has 14 starters returning including their QB, RB, 3 OL, 3 WR and almost the entire secondary. thinking they go over.
their schedule:
Sep. 3 - Eastern Washington
Sep. 10 - at Boise State
Sep. 17 - Idaho
Oct. 1 - Oregon
Oct. 8 - at Stanford
Oct. 15 - UCLA
Oct. 22 - at Arizona State
Oct. 29 - at Oregon State
Nov. 5 - Arizona
Nov. 12 - California
Nov. 19 - at Colorado
Nov. 25 - Washington

i also think Washington (at 9 wins) will lose at least 3 games to the combo of Stanford/Oregon/Utah/USC/WSU with the remainder of the field adding at least 1 more game. UW bet the under.

Sep. 3 - Rutgers
Sep. 10 - Idaho
Sep. 17 - Portland State
Sep. 24 - at Arizona
Sep. 30 - Stanford
Oct. 8 - at Oregon
Oct. 22 - Oregon State
Oct. 29 - at Utah
Nov. 5 - at California
Nov. 12 - Southern California
Nov. 19 - Arizona State
Nov. 25 - at Washington State

I kinda liked wash st over too. I looked and it is still O/U 7.5 even odds. Surprising.

Then again, many of their "winnable" games are in the road, meaning good chance they lose a couple of them.
