No one cared when Kenny Hill transferred out. He had some off field and onfield issues and had already lost the starting job. I'm not exactly sure why Kyle Allen transferred. The rumor is that he did not like the system/playcalling, and if that's true I honestly can't blame him. There is also a rumor that he was injured midyear and felt the coaches sort of threw him under the bus by not bringing up the fact he was injured.

Murray is sort of a **** show, with his father. Papa Murray apparently runs alot of the show, meets with coaches, etc. No one knows for sure if or why he is transferring. Seems weird given the fact that he would definitely be starter next year. Some rumors are that he doesn't like the OC (he cussed him out one game this year) or that he was promised more playing time in recruitment. Whatever the reason, he seems like a spoiled prima donna. Maybe I would be too if I had never lost a game in high school and was a top recruit, but he seems over the top.

It seemed weird at the time, and in hindsight, stacking 5 star quarterbacks was definitely a bad move. Although I understand why Sumlin had to go after Murray.

UF has a chance for a top 5 class if they win some coinflips. Other SEC teams that I think could finish pretty strong are: AU, UGA, Ole Miss, and obviously Bama. LSU already has a strong class. Holding onto Eason was really important for UGA and I think that helps them with guys like Nauta.

UGA fans- what do you think about your former OL coach, Rob Sale? There's talk of UF not retaining Mike Summers, their OL coach when his contract ends in March. Mac has worked with Sale in the past and there are some rumors going around that he might pursue Sale (since I don't think Sale is getting retained at UGA).

Sale had a reputation as someone who improved UGA's OL recruiting but was a really, really poor coach on the OL. Our OL somehow got worse this year bringing back 4 starters.

Previous guy for us (Will Friend) was the opposite - not really a lights-out OL recruiter but a great developer of players. But he left to go to CSU with Mike Bobo. Dammit bobo, why'd you have to leave and then richt gets fired? Bobo's gonna be a really good HC somewhere one day imo, at a major school.
