This doesn't really bother me too much, there are all sorts of things that are forbidden for football players that are allowed for the general student population (cf. curfews etc). They all know what the rules are.

What grinds my gears is when talking heads get into a discussion of drug testing and act like there's no difference between PEDs and purely recreational drugs. I am pretty sure I posted in the grantland thread about a conversation like this between BS and CK.

I found a clip of pvn from the old days:

Jacob Eason announcing tomorrow

one way or another at least the circus will end.

Eason going to Georgia confirmed

There's a recruiting ticker that I just found similar to the coaching one. Muschamp just nabbed a 4 star that was being swayed my Clempson.

Happy.

He starts from day 1
12-15-2015 , 02:34 PM
especially since he's going to be on campus and with the team from January 2nd.

A shame he has no one to throw to
12-15-2015 , 04:57 PM
You mean we don't get to see Lambert next year?

That's a shame.

It's been a rough year for Miranda

FCS QB graduate transfer Dakota Prukop picks Oregon over Alabama for his last year of eglibility and he should be able to transfer at the first of the year pending GRE.
Ducks also flip 4* QB Tristen Wallace away from Ohio State. Good chance he plays WR instead of QB.

Big day for Florida landing the #1 ranked kicker. Current kicker is last in FBS hitting 5 of 14 kicks this past year

For real. Man is WR bleak

It's kinda bleak, but I've argued it's not as bad as you'd think.

Terry Godwin is gonna be really good once he has a competent QB of any kind to throw the ball to him.

Sony Michel and Isiah McKenzie are gonna be used at WR a lot. They did this a ton before Chubb was injured, and with him back it makes sense. Both are great for screen passes and short routes in the slot. I'm like 90% sure Jeb Blazevich is already a really good TE who suffered through an awful QB.

With those four, UGA has a solid complement of weapons. Definitely not ideal, and below average for UGA, but enough to work with. A good QB and system can make the talent around him look way better. UGA does need a couple more people to step up. Reggie Davis is ok-ish, and should provide some production. Need someone on the roster like Chigbu or Kenneth Towns to starting producing. Or a new freshman - UGA already has two 4* WRs coming in and probably gets two more 4* ATH/WRs.

Muschamp gets 4 star CB Jamarcus King.

Seems like signing a guy named Javon WIMS would solve UGA's WR probs

Rumor is that Kyler Murray is planning to transfer from A&M. We are a dumpster fire right now. Not sure if he is transferring for football or baseball. Supposedly we may learn something at the 4:30 press conference.

If he is transferring, Sumlin is either gone soon or is on a very, very hot seat next year. Unless they already have a handshake deal in place with someone like Herman, I don't think they fire Sumlin this year. But the alumni are getting very unhappy very fast.

Why are all these QBs transferring out? Haven't really been following why they are doing so in great numbers now. Does Sumlin show up drunk and beat them like step children? Seems like some controversy is brewing or something is going on.

In ever understood why Allen was benched in the first place

Bama snagged #2 OL juco Guy apparently

Nauta and Woerner are going to be big time targets for Eason. Robertson and/or Hardman could also potentially play offense. That's 3 5 stars right there. UGA is going to have plenty of weapons. We just need a decent OL so Eason can get them the ball

I remember last year when all the NFL guys were saying Jim Harbaugh hated to recruit
