That said, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. If Michigan can poach a few guys who otherwise end up at Florida, UT, or Ole Miss; more power to 'em.
GTFO with your bull****. The satellite camps and off-site practice obviously favors Michigan, which is why they're running them. However, those same things are to the overall benefit of both the student athletes at Michigan and elsewhere. The SEC is explicitly arguing against this that are in the student athlete's interest because it effects their little cartel. That's the real bull****.

Of course it doesn't. But it isn't the Michigan crowd who's been setting up that straw man.

Michigan blatantly exploiting the current rules and the SEC being a bunch of hypocrites re athlete interests aren't mutually exclusive.

The SEC is arguing that student athletes are already too tired to go to class, but holding practices away from campus during SPRING BREAK is some horrible burden.... even though it means less practice time during classes. **** the **** off you ****ing ****s.

HOW DARE YOU CRITICIZE SAINT HARBAUGH!!!
02-09-2016 , 06:46 PM
Ikes is confirmed mad

Just take 3 deep breaths and repeat to yourself "WHO HAS IT BETTER?" until the anger fades

This would seem to get around that if allowed
It's also during a "quiet period", so the coaches wouldn't be able to have contact with seniors either. There can't and won't be any direct recruiting.

What's amusing to me is the implicit -- and almost certainly incorrect -- assumption that the practices are going to be a public spectacle, which is pretty much exactly the opposite of what Harbaugh did this past spring. The man doesn't believe in wasting practice time.

He's accomplished his objective, imo, of getting people to talk about it. So even if the NCAA squashes it at the behest of some of the LOLSEC , he got that done. All the better if he makes some people look like clowns in the process.

This.

We own them on the field and we'll find a way to own them off the field too.

Mississippi's football program was cited by the NCAA in nearly half of the 28 rules violations levied against the school in the Notice of Allegations the university recently received, said a person with knowledge of the investigation.

The person said Tuesday that 13 allegations involve the football program, and nine of those occurred during current coach Hugh Freeze's tenure. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.
