Charles Rogers was so sick at MSU. Pretty elite at smoking tree too.

whats going on...Steroid Boy picked for dkgojackets and now dkgojackets is picking? Are they co-owners? If not, why did Steroid Boy pick for him? If so, they need to decide on one.

No big deal, but are you sticking with SB's EJ Henderson pick?

Re: College Football BCS Era Draft

Round 4, Pick 44

I'll take Terence Newman, CB

Quote:
2002 Consensus All-American; 2002 Jim Thorpe Award

Newman is considered among the best cover corners of the decade.

Listed at only 5' 11" and 189 LBS he more than makes up for it with 4.37 speed, a 41" vert and a broad jump of 11' 4"

Newman was a track star in college as well. Winning conference championship in the 100m and 60m

Team so Far....

QB: Robert Griffin III
RB: Ricky Williams
DE: Jerry Hughes
CB: Terence Newman

Didn't you trade picks with Noz/MJW? He has your pick, you have his pick this round?

Nice pick. He should've been gone awhile ago. Really thought he was gonna fall to me next round. I would've took him. I pretty much had him and Bailey at 1A and 1B.

Nah I only traded with Biig chips. I traded 1 2 3 and 5 with him. So I got pick 2 and now pick 11th in rounds 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. 2 3 and 5 were from him and 4 and 6 are my own picks, which was the 11th overall.

Re: College Football BCS Era Draft

I'm going to take AJ Hawk.

Quote:
Hawk played with the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2002 to 2005 and played in 51 games, starting 38 of them. He had 394 tackles with 196 of them solo, 41 of them for losses, 15 and a half sacks, 7 interceptions, and 13 fumbles recovered. He also had two fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles and two touchdowns, one on a blocked punt and one on an interception. His performances earned him first team All Big Ten honors in all three years he started and the Most Valuable Player award for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. In his senior season of 2005, he ended up winning the Lombardi Award as best college football interior lineman (linebackers are included in this).

Quote:
On April 29, 2006 Hawk was drafted in the 1st round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He was the 5th overall pick of the draft.
Quote:
In his rookie season, Hawk led the Packers' defense with 119 total tackles, 82 of them solo. He also recorded 2 interceptions, 3.5 sacks, 6 passes defended and 1 forced fumble. He was third place in voting for the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year

Team so far:

Von Miller
Champ Bailey
Brian Orakpo
AJ Hawk

Like Miller and Orakpo, Hawk is versatile enough to play in a 3-4(as he does in the NFL) or a 4-3(as he did in college). I could either go:

LOLB Von Miller
LILB AJ Hawk
ROLB Brian Orakpo

or

DE Orakpo
SLB Von Miller
WLB AJ Hawk
