HE DID IT AGAIN HE PUNTED AGAIN ON 4TH N 1 DESPITE NOT BEING ABLE TO STOP THEM AT ALL.
so what do they do? they return the punt to the CAL 28.
GREAT ****ING DECISION WAY TO PLAY FIELD POSITION FOOTBALL SONNY!!!!
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL at all of you who tried to tell me how sonny was actually a good head coach cuz the one ****ing cal game you watched in your entire life you saw him click a button correctly.
...aaaaaaand comment sections continue to be pure AIDS.
Admittedly he gets blasted in a bunch of the replies, being reminded that these "geniuses" on the sideline still need a chart to tell them when to go for two instead of being able to do 4th-grade math in their heads.
Lol yeah. The nfl's a real meritocracy! Nevermind that the only real way to get a job as an nfl coach is to be the immediate family of an nfl coach.
The weird forward progress sack call distracts from the fact that Baylor [down 1, no TOs, and 44 seconds left] tried to run the ball 50 yards to fg range.
Thoughts on dabos decision to accept penalty at the end of the game? seems awful. Fsu had to go for it on 4th and 13 or ballgame and Dabo accepts the penalty to make it 3rd and 23. I feel like I'm running it once all day.
put fat mike in the title and never take him out. hes ruining what should be a literal goat career
only specific i have from today is not taking a TO at the end of the game when atlanta were happy to let the clock run down. yo idiot, when the other team is happy to let the clock tick down in that spot you might wanna consider not letting them do it
also i think he did something very similar at the end of the first half but anger has distorted my memory so im not 100% sure of that
He did the exact same thing first half but rogers still managed to take it down and get a fg with like28 seconds left.
I believe they had 9 seconds left with 2 TOs in the first half on Atlanta's 31 and instead of taking a shot at the end zone Mike wanted to run it up the middle and take the field goal.
Doug definitely showed some promise early in the season. For example, last week after the Huff KRTD, Minny got called for roughing the kicker on the PAT (which was good). Doug accepted the penalty and went for two. Also has gone for a handful of 4th and short from the ~OPP40. I think he just got too conservative with a lead, haven't seen an interview, but I would bet the lolpunt was just basically a "but what if we miss the FG and give Dallas good field position, let's TRUST THE DEFENSE" then the no TOs was just some "don't wanna risk a muffed punt"-type crap.
It's pretty lol when you get outcoached by Jason Garrett.
I mean this was the guy under Andy Reid. This is what we should have expected really.
