Thumbs up Champions League 2012/2013 Edition

Although I'm still celebrating last season's success, I have been reliably informed that the First Qualifying Round matches for this season's competition are upon us. Linfield's road to Wembley begins tomorrow.

Many of the usual suspects are involved again, but there is an interesting mix of new teams participating.

Juventus will be involved once again for the first time since 2009.

Paris St Germain and Montpelier go straight into the group stages.

Malaga, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Udinese will be aiming to qualify through the play offs.

Both Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund will be hoping to improve on their recent performances in European Competition.

Re: Champions League 2012/2013 Edition

With a decent draw a 2nd place in the group shouldn't be out of reach for Ajax, especially if we get luckier than last year

Juvy odds look great assuming they're going to buy a stud striker this summer

FC Lusitanos is a club in Andorra, not in Moldova.

Valletta, Dudelange and Linfield are the great favourites.

History says Barca has to win this year and Spain has to win 2014 World Cup.

Malaga/PSG and the new Juve make this a pretty scary looking set up. Gonna be some epic groups.
