I know there's only 9 teams, but this isn't right.
ya it seemed like the best 4 teams were all in the West this year, but Ottawa did manage to Edmonton & Calgary, so gg i guess
PLAYOFFS
it seems like the West has dominated this league, the NHL, NBA & MLS too maybe for like 15-20 years running, generally speaking. seems weird, especially when you consider the population/money/power base that exists out east.
CFL: West has won 11 of the last 17 Grey Cups, some of the East wins like yesterday among the greatest upsets lol
NHL: West has won 13 of the last 20 Stanley Cups (maybe 16 if Anaheim wins that Crosby draft lottery instead of Pittsburgh?)
NBA: West has won 12 of the last 18 championships (East can thank labron for half their wins, and the one last year was also a slight miracle)
MLS: West has won 10 of the last 15 titles (+2 Houston, 1 KC), only truly eastern wins were DC & Columbus
think the divide would be even more stark if you looked W/L record or point differential too, i know a lot of these leagues have looked like the CFL this year with the West loaded with most of the good teams
wonder if this is a real thing or not, and if so, why
