Opening game was really good. Ratings were up big time.

Hopefully CFL is better this year than it has been in the past few seasons. So far, I'm optimistic.

Will this team ever be good again? I think they're close, but what do they need?

- Lions blitz like 3-4 linebackers on 2nd down
- QB sees them coming and falls down
- flag for something or other
- apparently you can challenge that now, so the Lions do because literally nothing illegal happened
- refs look at the review for like 2 seconds before determining that their call was as legit as the cops shooting a black guy for existing

The reffing was no better in the Bombers/Ti-Cats game. Orridge needs to do something about this ASAP. I'd take the return of Michael Lysko if it meant better officiating.

Another somewhat unconvincing lead for the Bombers over Edmonton at the half.

Replacing Willy with Nichols seemed pretty desperate to me, but he's accomplishing. Willy should be upset. Was it a team not playing for a guy they dislike?

They're wearing out Dressler.
