So can you. You're the one who said good closers don't let people on base and you don't have an appropriate respect for sabermetrics. You prefer to watch games and figure it out from that just like Joe Morgan.

As to the comment about Buehrle, I stand by it. He's one of those weird sinkerball pitchers that doesn't try to strike people out but instead tries to get them to hit ground balls and relies on his defense.

He's like Radke.
First of all, Joe Morgan rules. He has respect for the game and plays it the way it was meant to be played, with stolen bases and bunt singles. Let's not mention that Joe Morgan's best trait was his walk rate and ability to hit for power, and that his speed was a secondary trait. Never mention the fact that Joe Morgan walked a lot during his career, since that is just clogging the goddamned bases.

Second of all, Dusty Baker rules. I am sick and tired of people like you making fun of him.

Third of all, sabermetrics are bunch of numbers for sissy-ass pansies who don't know how to play baseball and think everything can be measured, like the average runs scored with runners on second and third with 2 outs and a .285 EqA batter at the plate or how many runs is equivalent to a expected win. Come on, that's a bunch of [censored] and you know it.

What the [censored] is EqA anyway, that's a total [censored] stat along with UZR. Back in the day they used Batting Average and Fielding Percentage, and that was good enough.

Bunch of nancy-boy [censored] is what you all are.
I

I hope this is sarcasm.

I know sarcasm doesn't translate well over the Internet, but damn, I can't imagine anyone saying that and meaning it.

I bet he is still affected by the Pujols HR. Him coming off the DL kept him up all night.

Who in their right mind will say Lidge is awesome right now? I'm an Astros fan and I'm not running around yelling Lidge for Cy Young or anything.

Even if the 'Stros hold on to win this one, wow. Giving up a grand slam in the 9th isn't exactly something you shrug off. Byun-Yung Kim says hi.

Brad Lidge's job is to get saves. He's got 19 of those, and he's only blown 3. What's wrong with that? Really?
