I've been a Rams fan since 2003. They didn't have one. single. winning. season. the entire time i've been a fan.
But i stuck through it, because again i'm one of the few football fans in an area where most people are cardinals/blues fans. I lived through the Bulger/SJ39 years. The Bradford years (last 4-5 years) where he got a new OC/HC every fricken year or tears his ACL.
Through the 0-3 win years.
Through Jeff Fisher's persistent mediocrity.
And what do I get out of it? Littlefinger dumps the town first chance he gets when we refuse to shell out $400m of public taxpayer funding.
You want a final summary of the 2015 Rams?
2015 St. Louis Rams:
-No QB
-No WRs
-No TEs
-Poor OL
-Run first offense that loses to pretty much any team that stacks the box.
-Front office that refuses to change the above despite it being the same exact problem since the greater show on turf era.
-Thug HC/DC that encourage injuring opposing teams as a means to get an advantage.
-No winning season for over half my life and the entire existence as a fan of the team
What is there to like about the team?: Todd Gurley, DL, Johnny Hekker.
A kicker, a DL we only established a few years ago, and a RB we got this year.
So why did i leave? Because this team only brings you pain: The owner spat in our faces, we had to endure 2-3 YEARS of wondering if our team would leave (they did), the team sucks and is largely unlikable, and despite ALL of that and sticking with the team through EVERYTHING, i get rewarded with losing my team.
That is why I am no longer a Rams fan.
