Indy is only a 5 hour drive Searix, and there are plenty of open seats available on the Luck train next year.

The fact that you have an in state alternative is a small mercy I guess? This is the aspect of American sports that gets slammed by people this side of the Atlantic.

I actually currently live on the Illinois side of St. Louis, so I'm 'officially' torn between Kansas City and Chicago.

Closest college team is now 3 hours away (Mizzou/U of I), closest NFL game is 5+ (KC/Chi/Ind)

Attending NFL games seems like a pain in the ass anyway, why not open the pool of possibilities to teams further away

Searix why not try the Seahawks??

Then you can hate watch two games a year when they play the Rams.

You must really hate searix. He just went from watching the rams get swept every year, and now you wanna force him to watch a team that'll get swept by the rams?

Searix, have you considered the Fighting Mariota's as your new team to back?

there's nothing wrong with staying a Rams fan.

Of course I understand it. I said I didn't follow the Thrashers to Winnipeg. It's a ****ty situation as a fan for sure.

I also don't understand how you could just stop rooting a team because of where they play home games

I think treating the city like **** might have something to do with it.

Because the people who are in charge of said team are massive ****s who are looking to milk the city dry for profit?

I was raised a Rams fan in LA. Stuck with them even though they would either barely make the playoffs and lose or just plain suck. Watched them purposefully put out a ****ty team the last few years they were in LA just so that they'd have a better excuse to move. Once they moved I said **** it and never rooted for them again. Of course four years later they finally won a SB.

Basically I'm the guy whose girl left him for Searix. Now she's leaving him and we both now know what a cheating lowlife skank she is.

Imagine the Pittsburgh Steelers becoming the LA Steelers. You honestly don't understand why their local fans would be ****ing furious over that? You don't understand why they might not desire to be a fan of that franchise anymore?

Somehow it becomes acceptable just because a team is currently in the tank, while other teams seem to be off limits to this sort of thing. Relax, it's just the Rams and maybe the Chargers you're only 120 miles away.

You didn't follow the Thrashers when they were in ATL. Please. You had two NHL teams, and both moved because no one in Atlanta cares about hockey or really sports in general. Terrible sports city.

im a vikings fan living in NY so maybe that's why i don't understand. if the vikings moved it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. i suppose if i lived near the team i root for then i'd be missing out on attending home games but most fans don't go to games so i really don't get it, no. i think that's why nyg/nyj fans don't care their team plays in NJ... bc they can still go to the games.

also publicly funded stadiums are generally bad for the state so wouldn't you think the fans would want the team playing in another state?

The owner who moves the team is saying a big "**** you" to the citizens of that city. Most people cheering for a team live in that city. Hope that helps.
