spare a thought for poor old deandre hopkins. in his short career he'd had to endure the following starting qbs:

matt schaub
TJ yates
case keenum
ryan mallet
fitzmagic
bradon weeden
and worst of all, brock osweiler

poor bastard might be the best WR oat and we'd never know

oh and hes also had to put up with b'ob + kubiak aka lets run the ball into the line for 2-4 yards 30 times per game because derrrpstablishment

He did say in an interview once he's the best, QB don't mean ****. Don't think he knew Brock was a real person.

It's actually kinda sad that luck factors into careers so much. Like that list is just pathetic. I really do feel bad for the guy

So long as he stays healthy he'll get a chance to play elsewhere if he wants to. And many of the true greats at WR were able to produce even with less than stellar QB play.

he's been producing even with that pile of crap, had an ok rookie year and then:

1210 yds 6 TD (fitzmagic started 12 games, mallet 2 games, keenum 2)
1520 yds 11 TD (hoyer 9, mallet 4, yates 2, weeden 1)

brock otoh is another matter entirely since he literally cant throw the ball to a bloke standing 15 yards away

Brock + BOB may be an insurmountable combo. Just proving Belichek plays on another level as all of his coordinators have been terrible HCs. He tricks the league into hiring these goons and probably laughs maniacally watching film of their games.

I think we can semi-comfortably say Fitzpatrick and Hoyer are at least not terrible at providing quality WRs with some decent statz.

Larry Fitz had a worse run for a few years when he was in his prime. It was like Lindlay, Leinart, Skelton, Kolb, and a few other scrubs. For several seasons.

Agree about Brock though. Dude is horrific.

Jones was solid in cincy and sanu def was not better than him. Sanu was just more healthy.

have no idea what you are getting at here. jones wasnt trash with the bengals tho. he was injured quite a bit but when healthy he contributed. there just wasnt that much volume left over for secondary wr in that offense.

green and julio are pretty damn close I would say. julio seems more freakish and explosive tho. dalton has turned sure green tds into long gains or incomplete passes more often than proly any player ever. he seems to get open deep pretty often.

Many of them seem to be incredibly egotistical and set in their ways.
