So as of now it looks like FSU is in.

Auburn is probably in if they win the SEC title game.

What happens if Auburn loses? There has to be a way to keep Ohio State out.

What happens in following scenario:

1. OSU loses
2. Missou loses
3. USCe loses to Clemson, beats Auburn

???

Auburn is going to need a pretty huge leap in the human polls to have a chance to jump Ohio State

can't really blame them, when big10 teams play in the national championship it's an embarrassment

when has this happened to a BCS conference team?

If OSU and FSU win they play each other.
If one of them lose, and Auburn win then Auburn plays the undefeated.
If one of them and Aubrun lose then it's Bama vs undefeated.

Most likely scenario right now is much SEC butthurt.

A situation where we have two major conference undefeateds and one of them is denied for a 1 loss team is unprecedented. I'd be shocked if it happens.

this Auburn team is the football equivalent of a final destination movie, so I wouldn't rule out Braxton miller getting hit by a train this week

LSU got in with TWO losses over many 1-loss teams

What if OSU and FSU lose?
What if OSU, FSU and AU lose?

In scenario 1: AU v Bama
In scenario 2: Bama v Mizz

Would 2p2 agree?

Very different scenario Clark. Three undefeateds and a case where we have a bunch of one loss teams happened but in this case we're looking at two 13 - 0 major conference champions out on their own. Everything else will be irrelevant to the voters when it comes down to it imo.

by many 1-loss teams, you mean 11-1 Kansas and 12-0 Hawaii.. not exactly controversial

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_NC...tball_rankings

West Virginia was going to get in easily ahead of LSU had they not lost their last game to Pitt

That I agree with. tOSU 100% goes to the title game if they beat MSU.
