man you can do 70 without even training, that extra 20 will be a cakewalk!

Re: Baseball Dream...

depending on what you count as professional:

id develop a fastball and then proceed to hustle every "guess my pitch speed" carnie in your area.

then sell the stuffed bears on the carnie black market.

One of my favorite Stengel lines:

Scout: "Speed isn't everything. I know truck drivers that can through 95 MPH."

Stengel: "You got the names of those truck drivers?"

Seriously though, if you're already at 70 MPH just concentrate more on throwing harder. It's really that simple. Also remember to breathe through your eyelids like the lava lizards of the Galapagos Islands.

From this morning.

Note how my long fingers allow me to have a good grip on my circle change, which allows for great movement :-)

Man, nothing tilted me more as a kid than playing basketball at the playground against dudes with long fingernails. WTFFFFFF

How is my story at all similar to Lin's? Last I knew, he didn't start playing basketball in his mid twenties.

Re: Baseball Dream...

I threw with amazin the other day. Arm action is long, wraps behind his back and doesn't really throw on a downward plane (just kind of slings it without much control). He also doesn't use his lower half at all. It takes a lot of time and effort to fix these flaws and I doubt he has the time to it.
