Federer just completely face ****ed Rafa today. Is he really THAT far off his peak? Backhand was hot fire and didn't seem to have any weakness aside from a couple poorly conceived drop shots.

At his peak, he pretty much played like God EVERY match. Now, it shows up in short bursts. Can you imagine a peak Fed losing to Donsky like he did last week?

Working on the bh with the bigger rackets has worked wonders for Roger against Rafa. Wish he'd done it years ago! Well, 10 years ago!

How much will Fed actually care about the Clay season? Such a grind at times. I say he converses his energy and ships Wimbledon instead.

Agree.

I think he'll play the French and prolly 1 of the 3 1000s.

Then Halle before Wimbledon as usual.

Although if he ships this, Miami looks good with Murray/Novak pulling out. Would he risk playing all three for the points?
