Welcome to tune-up week, featuring exactly one game between ranked teams.

Your title contenders play Mercer, The Citadel, Virginia, Kansas, Louisiana Monroe, Navy and Illinois. In an ironic twist, Wisconsin is the only one who plays anybody, facing off against Michigan.

On top of that, no FBS teams play on Thursday or Friday. Woof.

Tuesday - Despite pulling off this
beauty
, Ohio lost to Akron, which means that unless Akron loses to 2-9 Kent State, Ohio will be shut out of the MACTION CHAMPIONship game

Wednesday, Nov 15, 2017 - NCAA Football Game
7:00 PM 307 Eastern Michigan 3
308 Miami Ohio -3

7:00 PM 309 Western Michigan 9
310 Northern Illinois -9

8:00 PM 305 Toledo -17
306 Bowling Green 17

Thursday, Nov 16, 2017 - NCAA Football Game
7:00 PM 313 Buffalo -18½
314 Ball State +18½

7:30 PM 315 Tulsa 22
316 South Florida -22

Friday, Nov 17, 2017 - NCAA Football Game
8:00 PM 317 Middle Tennessee State -2½
318 Western Kentucky +2½

9:30 PM 319 UNLV +2½
320 New Mexico -2½

Saturday, Nov 18, 2017 - NCAA Football Game
12:00 PM 321 Rutgers 11
322 Indiana -11

Both teams enter at 4-6, so bowl eligibility is on the line. That's about as exciting as it's going to get today, folks

12:00 PM 325 Cincinnati -3
326 East Carolina 3

12:00 PM 331 Central Florida -14
332 Temple 14

12:00 PM 337 Minnesota 7
338 Northwestern -7

12:00 PM 341 Texas +3½
342 West Virginia -3½

WVU still has a shred of hope in the Big-12 title race, while Texas is 29th in the Sagarin Predictor (1 spot ahead of WVU and 1 spot behind "number 17" sparty) It should, at least, be a decent game.

12:00 PM 373 SMU +11½
374 Memphis -11½

12:00 PM 375 Virginia 19
376 Miami Florida -19

Well, UVA's beaten Georgia Tech and Boise State, so there's at least a chance this could be interesting. Miami is probably a lock to come out really slow, and who knows what happens next. Probably lots and lots of turnover chain is what happens next.

12:00 PM 379 Mississippi State -12
380 Arkansas 12

12:00 PM 385 UL Monroe 37
386 Auburn -37

12:00 PM 415 Michigan +7½
416 Wisconsin -7½

The only game this week between ranked teams. If there is any football justice, Michigan will end this "Wisconsin playoff" chatter sooner rather than later

12:20 PM 329 Pittsburgh +15½
330 Virginia Tech -15½

2:00 PM 345 Fresno State -1½
346 Wyoming +1½

2:00 PM 351 Rice 9
352 Old Dominion -9 -103

2:30 PM 377 Iowa State -9
378 Baylor 9

3:00 PM 349 Hawaii 11
350 Utah State -11

3:00 PM 353 Charlotte 17
354 Southern Miss -17

3:00 PM 355 Massachusetts 4
356 BYU -4

3:00 PM 357 Louisiana Tech -17
358 UTEP 17

3:00 PM 359 South Alabama -5
360 Georgia Southern 5

3:00 PM 371 Arizona State -7
372 Oregon State 7

3:00 PM 405 Texas State +26½
406 Arkansas State -26½

3:30 PM 323 Kentucky 21
324 Georgia -21

One of these games has to turn out to be good, right?

3:30 PM 327 Georgia Tech -6
328 Duke 6

3:30 PM 335 Syracuse +13½
336 Louisville -13½

Lamar Jackson & Bobby P vs. Eric Dungey (hopefully) and Dino Babers, who is apparently FIFTY SIX years old.

3:30 PM 343 Oklahoma -36½
344 Kansas +36½

3:30 PM 363 Purdue +8½
364 Iowa -8½

3:30 PM 367 Illinois +40½
368 Ohio State -40½

3:30 PM 387 Kansas State +20½
388 Oklahoma State -20½

Ok State's playoff hopes are still alive, albeit on life support. Skylar Thompson gets his second start (he looked no good and very bad against wv)

3:30 PM 389 San Jose State +32½
390 Colorado State -32½

3:30 PM 395 Navy 18
396 Notre Dame -18

ND also has slim playoff hopes, and they'll get to test them against a team that wears the same uniforms.

4:00 PM 339 Maryland +16½
340 Michigan State -16½

Penn State and Michigan are both really hoping for Sparty to choke here (I think?) I assume Maryland is starting a punter or something at QB at this point.

4:00 PM 369 UAB +10½
370 Florida -10½

Two years ago UAB canceled their football program. Now they're back, they're 7-3, and they're looking to beat the Gators. I assume Maryland's punter is also coaching Florida as well. Also, how hilarious is it that UCF, USF, FAU and FIU are ALL better than UF and FSU? Pretty hilarious.

4:00 PM 391 Nebraska 26
392 Penn State -26

5:00 PM 399 New Mexico State -4
400 UL Lafayette 4

5:00 PM 401 Coastal Carolina 9
402 Idaho -9

6:30 PM 403 Army 3
404 North Texas -3

7:00 PM 365 Arizona pk
366 Oregon pk

In case you stopped watching after their one televised game against USC, Kahlil Tate did more Kahlil Tate things last week, racking up 206 yards on 16 carries against Oregon State.

7:00 PM 393 LSU -15½
394 Tennessee +15½

7:00 PM 407 Florida International +14½
408 Florida Atlantic -14½

LANE KIFFIN BRO VERSUS BUTCH DAVIS

7:00 PM 409 Connecticut +21½
410 Boston College -21½

7:00 PM 411 Marshall 1
412 UTSA -1

7:00 PM 413 Texas A&M 3
414 Mississippi -3

7:30 PM 333 NC State 2
334 Wake Forest -2

Nothing is at stake, but these teams are not bad and fun to watch

7:30 PM 381 Missouri -8½
382 Vanderbilt +8½

8:00 PM 417 UCLA 16
418 USC -16

CHOSEN ROSEN VERSUS SAM DARNOLD! HOME JERSEYS VESRUS HOME JERSEYS!

8:00 PM 419 California +15½
420 Stanford -15½

It's gonna be hilarious and a total embarrassment to the Pac-12, but Cal is definitely winning this game. And I don't even mean that in a homer sense, I legit mean that Wilcox is so, so, so far ahead of Shaw as an in-game coach that it's probably worth at least 15.5 points, and that makes the game a flip. And Stanford sucks, so Cal wins the flip.

10:15 PM 347 Air Force 17
348 Boise State -17

10:30 PM 383 Utah 17
384 Washington -17

10:30 PM 421 Nevada 16
422 San Diego State -16

These “bad” weeks are usually great.

Probably still going to suck tho.

First, thank you to whoever shared last week's post on reddit. It's super fun to read threads arguing the finer points of the watchability ratings .

Second, man this week looks bad. But actually, it's not bad. No college football is bad. Plus Baylor vs. Iowa State is going to be amazing.

In another of those "moves that someone convinced themselves made sense" USC will take a bye next week before (unsurprisingly) playing in the championship game. So the north champ gets to play USC off a bye week, lol. Great plan.

In a related aside, Wazzu has *this week* off before ye Apple Cup, so Washington may get to play TWO STRAIGHT teams coming off a bye to close the season. Best part about that scheduling difficulty is; THEY WON"T GET ANY CREDIT FOR IT!!!

Really great planning because who could have possibly foreseen USC and Washington would have been in this race at the end?

A bye week at the end of the season? I've never heard of such a thing aside from the lol SEC scheduling.

I've been a Miami fan since the 1960s, but I'd be tempted to take UVA +19 Saturday. In addition to the expected letdown after the ND game, Miami historically has a tendency to play down to their competition. Miami's only hope for another blowout is that it's senior day plus the fact that the stadium is basically sold out again, which is very unusual for an afternoon game against a non-rival, so-so opponent.

The best thing about this game is that it's Craft Beer Night. Twenty bucks gets you a ticket to the game plus all-you-can-drink before the game.

What qualifies as "craft beer" in that part of Florida?

Crazy thing is that if UK had just left a Florida WR uncovered once and not twice, this game would have been for the SEC East. I mean I don't expect to win this weekend, but it would have been fun to dream.

If you like seeing players sliding in rain and lots of turnovers, watch the OSU-Illini game. Wind advisory and strong thunderstorms expected throughout the game. Hell, I turned down free tickets to it because of the forecast.
