When it's all said and done it looks like he's going to be pro sports all time murder champion.

It certainly does. I can't think of many cases where the rational move is to try to disappear after coming under suspicion. However, AH had to know that in his case a lot of this would be brought to light. I guess hope springs eternal. It almost makes you wish that he really enjoyed those last few days in his house.

Well he better look forward to 23 hours a day and 1 hour of recreation for his prison sentence or if he gets off on a deal, he had better disappear. Nobody likes a snitch. I love the search warrant based on cocaine. I wonder if the lawyer can get that thrown out.

On espn reporter just said a player stated there was an edge about AH. Players knew you didn't disrespect AH and if you did he would let you know about it. Someone In the NE organization had to have known something.......

apparently he didn't hang out with teammates off the field. He seemed like a nice friendly guy from some of his interviews =/

knew what? that he was a bad dude who had a high chance of getting in trouble? perhaps, yeah. did they think he was going around murdering people? somehow I doubt that. they probably figured he had stayed out of major trouble (or so it seemed) for 2 years, so he projected to not be doing anything horrible in the near future.

but again if teams kept out guys who were bad apples or who might do bad stuff in the future they would be playing 5v5 in short order. I mean Alfonso Dennard was just committed on felony assault and that's A-OK - he'll be a projected starter this year. as long as you can perform on the field, everything else takes a back seat.

Going to need a thread change to "Aaron Hernandez: The Boston Mangler" or something if we find out he's really killed 3+ people.

Just stick with ruh roh? imo.

And for a semi-professional criminal holy god this guy is unbelievably dumb. Leaving the clothes you were wearing in your other apartment? Seriously? Even Ray Ray was able to dispose of his clothing. I mean here we have an apparent semi-serial killer who left chewed bubble gum and a shell casing in a rental car, left the body a mile from his house, took a baseball bat to his surveillance and phone and left his clothes in his own apartment. World-class idiocy, and it makes you wonder just how incompetent the investigators were in his other murders.

Getting away with killing gangsters/randoms prob. isn't that difficult (prop bet?).

Smart people are terrible when it comes to murder. They usually have something to gain from it and usually involves an acquaintance, spouse etc... I'm sure they would have much more success as serial killers.

Seems like the problem was the other murders were just random rage ones with little to tie back to him, whereas this one he made the mistake of killing one of his boys. Always get the blood lust out on people you don't know and won't be easily traced back to you

IDK people talk things like this tend not to stay secret.

I'm not saying Tom Brady knew AH was a murderer but good chance someone within the organization had heard whispers.
