Carruth was found Not Guilty of first degree murder and Guilty of conspiracy to commit murder. it's a much different and lesser charge. he got 18-24 years, whereas his worst case scenario was the death penalty
the driver of the car pled guilty to second degree murder and got 12 years, the shooter got 40 years
I think it's why "who did what" is going to be so important here, and you're going to have 3 dirtbags and the jury is going to have to decide who is telling the truth when none of them are people you can trust. also in the Carruth case you had the wife describing what went on in the 911 call.
