My guess as to why the vehicle was near the body was so AH could deny anything to do with the murder. He could say the guy borrowed it and then got killed.

Looks like everything being reported so far makes his defense about as bad as the Saints' D last season.

I used to be mad at OchoCinco for taking Hernandez' number 85--now I'm even madder, as Russ Francis' number gets dragged into this nonsense.

(anybody got a credible link summarizing the facts of the case? I can't find anything that says they found his car there.)

The facts are that the Patriots are cheaters and now officially killers.

Still rape-free though, that's gotta count for something

Nobody is going to believe a chick ever resisted Gronk, so no worries there ... plus she'd have to be on top with the whole back situation anyway.

So he cleaned up his place and destroyed his security system despite the fact that the murder did not happen at his place? Then, he hired cleaning ladies to clean the place. There are just more witnesses to question now.

Why not compact the car with all evidence (plus body) inside of it? Gotta wonder if they found prints of AHern in the car already.

Without a weapon or motive they are going to have a hard time pinning anything on him.

Only going to get worse. The civil suit plaintiff is a convicted coke dealer, I would guess that Aaron became the money guy for a drug trafficking ring with his old buddies.

Multiple sources tell ABC News that an arrest warrant has been issued for Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on charges of obstruction of justice in connection with a murder investigation.

Hernandez allegedly destroyed his home security system, an investigator close to the case told ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system - which included video surveillance - was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Police also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez's mansion, sources told ABC News.

The revelations come as multiple sources tell ABC News that the star NFL player has not been ruled out as a suspect in the murder of a semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, 27, who was Hernandez's friend.

Hernandez has been at the center of the investigation since Lloyd's body was found shot in the back of the head in a scrubby clearing of an industrial park roughly a mile from the Patriots star's million-dollar mansion in North Attleborough Monday.

Police believe Lloyd was killed between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, but his well dressed body was not found until 5:30 p.m. by a teenage jogger, several law enforcement sources told ABC News on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the case

Man this rabbit hole is just getting deeper. We might have the Pablo Escobar of Connecticut on our hands

Hernandez looking at max 5 years in jail if convicted of obstruction.

The odds of him missing at least one season either due to imprisonment or suspension by the NFL are astronomically high.

As a matter of fact, imprisonment may very well end his career if he gets the max.

Would felony murder apply here?

This could be gg if so.

Depends how the deposition goes.

However, if he's a better talker than gangster then that probably won't happen with a competent lawyer at his side.

I'm certainly not an expert in criminal law but I'm pretty sure Aaron isn't getting deposed.

Also it seems like he might be subject to felony murder with kidnapping as the predicate underlying felony.

We have some practicing criminal lawyers/prosecutors, hopefully they'll weigh in.
