Literally zero incentive to have anyone but lethal 3pt shooters. Would not bother playing defense inside the 3 point line.

One place I play pickup has lol 1s and 2s and it's awesome hacking the system and basically giving up layups and shooting 2s everytime down the court. It's the worst format for pickup so **** it. Get outscored like 11-7 in actual points but just rain 2s 2 out of 3 possessions and win

Uncontested layups and dunks still worth it, since teams won't shoot more than 50% from 3. But yeah, pretty much anything that isn't a gimme from 2 is a bad shot.

Key skill is good shooters with quick release. Curry would absolutely dominate in this game if he took a few days to get used to the smaller ball.

You need to factor in Off rbnds. Smaller ball will lead to higher 3pt %s too. Depends a lot on what kind of advantage you have on fast break obv.

Idk how this would even work, aren't NBA players like too good for this? 2 points for a three is insane, plus I feel like you'd offensive rebound a ton of your misses which would make them even more valuable.

But I feel like NBA dudes can get to the bucket for 1 like almost every time with that much space. Like, who is going to stop Kyrie 1 on 1 without defensive stoppers roaming the paint? I feel like PGs in the NBA nowadays don't so much lock a guy down as they just try to funnel them to shot blockers.

1's and 2's but loser's outs feels like it completely misses the point. The whole point of 1's and 2s is that 1s are de-valued on an individual basis but also make it much easier to retain posession, so the equity is still close. Plus winner's outs has sick runs and stuff.
