Doesn't Cal call the NBA Draft the biggest day of the year for UK basketball? That would rub me the wrong way if I were a UK fan. And if UNC gets to 7 before UK gets to 9, we'll see how mellow Blue Nation is.

He called the Wall draft specifically "the biggest day in UK history." I disagree, but whatever, that is just Cal being Cal. I mean he just knew what his recruiting pitch was going to be from that point on.

Knox / Vanderbilt / PJ Washington all seem like overlapping talents to me. Wonder how Cal will distribute their minutes cause playing 2 at the same time with Bamba is probably elite defensively but then they have no spacing on offense since apparently nobe of those guys can shoot.

Bamba hasn't picked UK yet....but yeah I was confused other than obvious NBA, why Knox would select UK over the other options when 2 other guys who were highly touted recruits are also playing the 3 at UK. Not that familiar with PJ/Vanderbilt but both are listed as PF on Scout.com. Well at least Knox didn't pick Duke....

Duke got Duval. Now we just need to land BAMBA. Think Bamba could make Duke a favorite. If he goes to Kentucky then they're the favorite imo.

Apparently Bamba has said that Duval is the best PG to play with in this class so that would be quite the snag.

I do wish we landed Knox which would've made it possible for us to start 5 freshman and bring Grayson off the bench.

I keep reading Bamba is down to UK or Texas. Didnt realize Duke was still in the running. I think Duke would he his best fit offensively(not that hes very skilled offensively). Kentucky has zero shooters and teams can just pack the paint on him.

Arizona looking nice, real nice. Some 2018 #4 SF has reclassified. Looks like Lorenzo Roman is an assistant coach now too. Hopefully that means some Markel Fultzes coming our way

Uhh...so this kid looks even better than Dennis Smith JR did in video breakdowns coming into last season. His combo of skill + athleticism is going to be deadly at Duke with Grayson at the 2.

Louisville lands Bowen in what was one of the weirdest recruitments I can remember seeing. Was supposedly down to MSU, Zona, or Creighton and somehow ended up at Louisville.

It's incredible how people think he is some kind of mendacious used car salesman when in reality it's almost the exact opposite of that. "You can come back to school for 50 years. Right now you gotta focus on getting the second contract." is the most on-point piece of advice ever. On one hand, it seems like he might be giving some of his edge away by letting these videos happen. But then you realize that is predicated on coaches emphasizing that the main goal is to maximize their players' individual dollar potential.
