For all his successes in recruiting and defining the "One and Done" era, remember that Cal has one title in his eight years in Lexington. Not shabby, but will the locals get restless if this philosophy keeps up coming up short where it really matters for bluebloods -- in the NCAAT.
Egos Cal has never had a problem. I mean dude had Cousins and Wall on the same team. Other than Ryan Harrow I don't think he has had a problem with teams meshing.
On noes only one title in 8 years. Cal has been in position to win it all 6 of the 8 years he has been here. Just **** happens once you get to the elite 8. I'm sure you find some idiot fans on Rupp Rafters complaining about Cal.

Not to this extreme though. The leading player returning next year is Wenyen Gabriel who averaged 4.6 points a game. By the end of the year he was pretty much nonexistent as he scored 9 total points in the last 10 games.
2010 2012 and 2015 were the elite UK teams and they were pretty much elite right from the beginning of the season. But those 3 teams all had key contributors return.
