Mark Jackson is up there. The refs don't know how to count to 10.

I'm a Curry fan/enthusiast but, **** me, I wish he would stop doing this.

AJ, what's your opinion on Durant? He made the most beta move ever. (I know I shouldn't ask but I'm curious)

I understand the Lebron hate when he moved to the Heat but going back to Cleveland and taking on the Warriors has to be given some love, why would anybody hate him for that ?

AJ's avatar makes me laugh given the result of the most recent finals.

The Warriors became contenders after he returned to Cleveland so I don't understand the question. Hating Lebron is crazy regardless. There were MJ haters back in the day too but nobody admits to that now.

I couldn't even hate on MJ, even while he was repeatedly crushing my childhood dreams of a Blazer championship. I don't think I truly hate the Warriors, and I used to really like the team. If I think about it I don't really hate anyone on there except for Katie, who just brings it out of me, especially after his unspinnable (IMO) decision to join GS. Like really the two main reasons I want CLE to win are because I'm a huge LabBrinn fan and enjoy his superhuman efforts, and I really, really want to see the intense scrutiny on Katie after they lose.

The Dubs = Monstars. Extraterrestrial freaks who have honed their skills to a level where it seems like they're abusing game exploits and play dirty basketball.

Labron = MJ
Kyrie = Bill Murray
Love = bumbling fat assistant

They are separate events which make him awesome.

Event 1 that makes Lebron awesome.
He returned to Cleveland.

Event 2 that makes Lebron awesome.
He is guiding his team to play on a competitive level against one of the top 3 best NBA teams in history.

Lebron seems more likeable than Jordan because Michael Jordan was just winning championship after championship and the Bulls were better than everybody else.
Lebron instead has to struggle against a better team which just make the whole thing a bit more epic to me.

I'm almost ashamed to admit I've never watched Space Jam. I probably would've loved it if it came out when I was 9.

The difference in likeability between MJ and LeBron has zero to do with basketball.

Great point.

Bulls/Jordan were pretty boring, kinda like early 2000s Lakers. If there's no drama or suspense then why care?

I somewhat agree. Jordan being a gutless suit coward certainly contrasts with LeBron's authentic ability to take risks and be vulnerable.

Want LBJ to win since the haters will some how find a way to hold this against him as a black mark on his resume.

It's not just a free throw routine, it's all the time including during active play. It's the main reason why you're evil trash if you root for the Warriors, even if you're from the Bay Area. If you're gonna root for grown men who walk around with schmucky teenage boy swaggers, you are literally better off dead and are most likely a Trump supporter.

LeBron hate is dumb, but it's silly to pretend that he is more high-minded than your average NBA superstar. If you want to rank the all time beta moves by NBA superstars, then LeBron's move to Miami is pretty damn high on the list. Probably not as high on the list as Durant's move to GS but still pretty damn high.

And returning to CLE after he relieved the pressure by winning back to back titles with a superteam in Miami isn't particularly redemptive imo.

But as I've said before, I don't really hold the Miami move against LeBron (or the GS move against Durant). NBA superstars feel incredible pressure to win their first title.

LeBron started the trend of superstars in their prime to form super teams to eliminate parody. 2010 and 2014 was the absolute height of beta fueled cowardice, especially hiding in the pathetic eastern conference where the road to the finals is softer than cottonelle tissue. In before people try to argue that kg, allen and pierce were in their primes when they joined up.

2010 showed an unprecedented amount of betrayal in an extremely self centered
and narcissistic way--that could only be pulled off by a pathetic disgrace of a human being.

The reason I bring this up is I have a similar contempt for Durant as a coward. Arguably it is worse considering he went to a team that beat him, but at the end of the day it's pretty similar. Both went to stacked teams to chase rings. Where I do credit Durant is going to a stacked conference with multiple super teams and doing it without the charades lebeta did.

my opinion of kevin love has only been going up since "the stop". was forgotton big 3/punching bag last year, but has been completely balling out this year when healthy.

Very refreshing quote here (minus at the end of the day which is a lebron cliche/tick) after all the eye rolling quotes from the celtikks about how nobody believes in us and ty lue had something similar (and also said coaching the cavs is the hardest job), but this is straight shooting truth.

We match up well with them, and I think they'd say the same about us."

I suspect there is disagreement b/c "hurt" isn't really a binary thing for athletes. almost never are they completely 100% healthy, it's just a matter of how banged up they are.

in Curry's case last year, he was hurt enough to miss 2 weeks of the playoffs. how much of that was still effecting him when he played is debatable, but seems silly to think he "wasn't hurt"

Jason Kidd was the WOAT.

Karl Malone would go schizophrenic, meanwhile Jeff Hornacek wouldn't stop wiping his ****ing face. He did it as a symbol to his kids, which is weird too.

That's what i got.
