Plan was to announce at some point that Konoplyanka's transfer is completed due to his strong season after his year on loan, him being a good fit and all. No questions asked.

Turns out Schalke effectively bought him right away for 12.5M € from Sevilla last summer and the loan stuff was supposedly tax related trickery. Lol
