Think this is probably quite a shrewd signing (it's Huddersfield btw).
Burnley have bid £8m for Assombalonga as well. Again shrewd but I'd be surprised if there wasn't more lower half Prem sides in for him.

Not sure about Ince, I didn't think he'd been that great in the Championship - although I see on wiki that he's hit double figures in the last three seasons so maybe I underestimate him.

Assombalonga would be a good replacement for Gray if he goes, but his injury record is a concern. I think it'll take a significantly larger bid to get him as well.

Of course, but Ince had a better record than I expected from the few times I'd seen him playing for Derby.

Forest turn down the £8m for Assombalonga. No doubt we'll increase it nominally for a few weeks before paying their asking price on deadline day. Not sure I want him anyway if it means we'll be subjected to variations of the conga song every week!
