I feel like when you're 18 years old, playing for Monaco and have absurd stats that are going to be probably unsustainable to reproduce is a better time to cash in than say the example of Bale. It's nearly impossible to reach a value that high at his age so my logic tends to be if you know you're going to sell him at some point and his value is close to ceiling, sell him.

He's getting a lot of spotlight because he's deep in the champions league and is in a great team scoring all the goals but next season some players might leave, he might find himself in a worse situation in a less attacking team where numbers won't follow and without CL spotlight/chance of winning the L1. Plus, it's Monaco an extra season of your 19 years old prospect can't be worth that much. You're huge dog to win the CL/L1 and you're probably locked in that top 3 that goes to the CL.
