meh it was always obvious coutinho wanted to go to barca. the only thing that's really changed is he'll now be the bad guy now if he leaves. the americans can sell without setting off a riot.

but take the money and go do the same thing to red bull

Spurs reportedly close to a deal for Davinson Sanchez for €40m. I'm hoping we will decline, as we won't spend the money anyway. Plus he's a lock to be top 10 cb in a few years

Sanchez is sick. Maybe a bit too rash at times and lacking in build up play? Still very young.

that's a strange one. i dont think he did much of anything last season. he got a bit more playing time towards the end of it but they had basically stopped trying in the league at that point

Best qualities: super fast, great tackler, strong, aggressive, good header, right mentality, pretty good on the ball.
Worst qualities: can over commit, positioning still needs to improve, makes weird decisions going forward at times.

Overall he's damn amazing. Incredible potential. His worst qualities are basically all things he probably will improve on with experience. If he continues to improve he will be a top 10 cb in the world.

That being said, I think this is move is too soon for him. A full extra year at Ajax would help him more

Not sure I'd agree here, unless he's very raw. He'll probably get a lot of game time at Spurs alongside Toby, Jan or both.

Provided he's as good as you say, I think this will help his development more than another season in the Eredivisie.
