Our first team (even without Walker) is still one of the best in the league, but there's not a lot of depth.

Ross Barkley would be a great signing, but don't think he's worth £50m and it's refreshing to see us not bending over on a valuation again.

I'm actually glad to see us not sign anyone to be honest. There's been so many big signings that have turned out to be complete duds that I'd rather just not sign anyone over £20m and get some decent first team backup.

It appears from the reliable guy on kumb.com that William Carvalho to West Ham may well be on. I couldn't pick him out of a line-up but he comes with a good rep and has a moustache, so I'm up for signing him.

He's probably confused as based on our transfer policy it'll be the Carvalho that used to play for Chelsea as he fits the age profile.
