****in eh that should be called. I really don't care if some other crew does or doesn't decide to call that. Maybe it happens in other games and isn't called for various reasons but that was blatant and I saw it in real time. Fouls are at least subjective, you can't argue that that should not be called because it "ruins the flow of the game" or "its rarely called". Those are irrelevant to that particular penalty.

Btw I was somewhat rooting for Gonzaga. But don't particularly care for college bball anymore.

edit: not calling that ruins the integrity of the game imo

College refs are ****ing awful compared to NBA refs. Can we just agree to that?

Calling something that is generally ignored and 0 EV does ruin the game. Especially if one team is harmed by a sudden change in standard.

TIL getting a call right is frowned upon. Calling ticky tack fouls is ok because "a foul is a foul", but not being out of bounds when inbouding a ball is ok because reasons. Amazing.

haha what does 0 ev in this context mean? Of course it makes a difference in the game if its called. Where do you draw the line? When they have both feet on the line? both feet in bounds? Its a really simple rule and it makes quite a difference running a break. That extra second could be crucial on getting an open layup etc. Again, this is not a subjective call, its black and white.

Because the inbounder's front foot is 3" closer to an unguarded man? Rule books get longer every year and refs could probably sway a bball game a lot of points if they started looking at one team for tacky calls.

Who needs to escrow? Get a HS poker or sports bettor to vouch for you [means he pays if you don't] and I'll do the same. EZpz.

I wouldn't mind escrowing with a trusted 3rd party - since I'll be banking over a 100% return over a relatively short period of time.

Up to you. I mean I know you won't back up your absurdities but I'm willing to give you a shot b4 furious backpedaling.

So you've watched <25 lifetime?

Even if you've never seen someone call TO with no TOs left it still happens you realize. Even in the biggest game of the year.

Agreed. What games are you watching when this blatant violation is missed and uncalled? Please point them out.

Yes, the 'leg in the air' inbounds is often uncalled. Foot on the line is called 90% of the time in the cbb games I've watched for decades, assuming the ref has seen it.

He lifted the foot off the ground just as he released the pass.

idk what you think a short amount of time is, but they could take them away in 25 years and I would still be the winner. And I'd want some sort of actual escrow account and not a vouch from someone who could be doing god knows what in 10 years.

Just set an end date for the bet and call it a draw if nothing happens by the end. Look up how long academic fraud investigations and the punishments generally take and use that as a guideline

this one is on year 5 already

and there is always a chance they go back and take them later even if they don't do it at the end of this one

this is why I suggested it is a bet thats not worth making
