just gotta finalize some stuff and should be good to go at the end of the week. a lot guys arent shown, im 99.9% sure ive got everyone. let us know if you want me to double check and i can check/send screenshot. gotta have 13 players on the team so some players that appear arent even on the team, so dw.
Damn Smart and Aminu are very mediocre defenders in this game, I wonder who their top 15-20 perimeter defenders are? I looked at some other random guys' stats on my team and they didn't look terrible.
Also can we get a big hearty lol at the thread/draft creator having the best team by far in this? Sort by 2k17 ratings > sort by PER. I'm kidding. I mean I'm serious, but it's pretty hilarious and I'm thankful to see the results anyway. I'll probably comment on tiers of teams/drafting at some point soon
lebron james factor. 4 best players in the game have the 4 best teams. kwahi, lebron, rwb and durant. my team is def over rated by 2k, but lebron goat so meh.

lbj's overall is def helping that team an obscene amount, i just noticed that. it was a misdirected criticism to mention that you drafted for 2k scores when the rest of the guys aren't that great really
kinda laughable that he's a B in mid range and jokic is also a B
last two years
seriously how ****ing stupid do you have to be as a video game designer to not be able to scrape b-ref
LEBRON IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE AND HE'LL STILL BE THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE IF YOU MAKE AN OBJECTIVE RATING SYSTEM WHERE HE'S A LITTLE BIT WEAK IN THE MIDRANGE AND JOKIC WHO IS THE BEST IN THE LEAGUE THERE IS BETTER THAN HIM. /TILT
I would say that Jokic's ratings should be altered to be more accurate for this.
Can't do it or you'd have to look at a million other guys who are probably off.
I just don't understand how offensive stats aren't just
volume*efficiency by shot distance*sample size(including previous years for 1/3 or something)*skill relative to field
or whatever, it'd be so ****ing easy to get objective #s. you can even raise or lower them based on player popularity if you want more popular playesr to be better
This specific roster isn't 2k's doing directly. Since the game devs stop updating rosters during playoffs, the most updated versions are user-created. That means this version includes ratings adjusted from that final "official" roster, along with new players (like rookies), but whoever made it might not have an accurate read on every player. Jokic seems to be the most egregious example here, but there are others that go in the other direction. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to a Jokic bump even if other players were left alone.
Just for logistical reasons, each team needs to have 13 players on the roster to be valid, but RT is going to set all the extras (like D Cunningham) to 0 minutes and that way they'll effectively not be on the team. Only chance for error would be if a player is injured midseason and the computer auto-adjusts minutes allocations. Don't know if it'd do that.
ill be making every custom team user instead of cpu, making injuries a 0 factor and game to game fatigue zero factor. Other teams will get their hands on guys like DDR but meh.

Except D. Cunningham is on my team as one of my 8 guys and not an extra in place of Milos TeoGOATsic
