Splitting hairs mostly.

Think I'm ready to go once Chaz picks. Have two guys in mind and a third could possibly be better right now for team construction, but not sure
Well, if he shows he can carry a higher usage efficiently, that obviously is meaningful. & the better he looks irl obviously the better it will make my team look.

The first 10 picks should have been the 10 best players in order regardless of salary.
Absolutely this. There will be no super teams in this league. LeBron = auto win pretty much.

Pretty much. But LeBron also doesn't get a free pass to the finals via the lol East in this league either

Boogie was the main other guy I was considering.

Can't wait to quote these posts after round 4 when we realize how similarly talented these teams will be.

CP3 was the guy who shouldve gone ages ago. top 10 easy

I kept checking the sheet to see if I forgot him.

I'm not knocking the last ten or so picks, but I'm really curious as to why they didn't choose CP3 at that price... I mean he's been a perennial top5 player and is coming off an amazing season.

Sure if you're planning on surrounding him with all stars and don't really care about advancing in the playoffs

Those were the 2 I was deciding between. I think they are both significantly better than Gianni's or AD fwiw

I got stuck at the beginning of the log jam of 5-6 roughly equivalent players once Harden got picked. Pick was going to look bad regardless.

CP3 won 70% of his games with just one psuedo all-star. Playing in the West and running into elite teams is pretty tough.

Well, those were my top 2. Picking shortly

Giannis can turn into someone that solo carry his team (considering bucks roster) to 55-60 wins anytime including next season

I think it is indeed somewhat close, but I can't see much of an argument for Westbrook(although its worth noting I had him as only 4th in MVP last year, so I've never been his biggest supporter).
Forgive the homer for a bit.

Harden is clearly several tiers above Westbrook in this format. I think Westbrook is probably one of the lower max contract guys. He clearly played out of his mind this year with a subpar supporting cast and still couldn't get together a significantly winning team which hampers his value in a draft format. Harden has consistently put together good to great teams regardless of supporting cast for the past 4 years. You know taking Harden you'll have a top 8 team itl and top 5 in this draft even though he's a dog to be on the best team because LeBron exists. His efficiency at his usage is just almost comical for a non-great player.

Can one of his friends contact charder? He's always good about these things and if we can get his picks it'll be a wrap.

He was on my list ahead of some other guys who have gone. My reasoning was mostly positional scarcity.

CP3 went way too low

I think PG is way deeper than PF/C in this format

So have we decided on trades being allowed or not? I know KoD mentioned it earlier, but I don't think it was decided on. I'm good with whatever RT or anyone wants to do.

Yeah, I phrased my post poorly. I meant that's why I took a center over CP3.

Got ya

I love the Gobert pick. Scarce position and a great player to build around.

Charder cracks me up in these. Every draft we're like "where is Charder he hasn't posted in 5 days" then he shows up the pick before his. The man is serious about his drafts.
