Didn't you admit you don't really watch football anymore? The game has changed a lot the last couple years. These flags are super standard now.
Whether I agree with it or not, when I saw the play I immediately thought "flag", per their rules.
I am talking about the defenseless receiver flag over the middle. If we're talking about something else then I'm mistaken.
Never understand your hate or anyone's for Whitner. He's been fined a total of $0, and has been in the league since 2006 (he was fined this year, but won his appeal). He's not a thug. Go after Dashon Goldson if you want the last 49ers safety to be fined.
If anything Whitner should be praised and be given the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully it leads to reviewable penalities; it's awesome watching a big, legal hit.
